Party Like a Pro: 8 Fun-Filled Tips to Make Your Party Business the Life of the Celebration!

Hey there party enthusiasts!

Running a party business is like throwing the best bash in town – you gotta stand out and make some noise! There's a ton of competition out there, but I'm here to share some tips to help your party biz be the one everyone's talking about.

What's Your Party Trick?

Everyone has that ‘thing’ that makes them unqiue. Let’s find yours, what’s your USP (unique selling point) Are you providing Professional Singing Princesses? Do your Characters perform magic? Does your Soft Play offer personalisation? Whatever it is, own it, flaunt it in your ads, and make sure it's all over your website.

Treat Your Clients Like Rockstars:

Great customer service is your secret weapon. This is something I have always prioritized in my businesses, your customers should be treated like royalty. From a Follow-Up Email after a party, remembering small details parents have told you about their child, going above and behind in ways that don’t cost you any £££. Do you know how many parent’s LOVED that we gave all parent’s a sprinkle of Pixie Dust to make a wish ‘because everyone needs a little magic’

Be the Trendsetter:

Stop following your competitors, you will always be one step behind. Sit down, think outside the box, and create parties, events, or experiences that are unique to you. How can your harness what you are good at? Are you an amazing painter? Imagine hiring Rapunzel for a wedding, children come up to her and ask her to paint them a painting ( just like she does on her walls ), it’s signed by Rapunzel and is a gift children go home with. Sounds a pretty cool wedding! Or maybe you are a fantastic Face Painter, how can this be an experience? Maybe the Face Painter paints each child as a character and at the end of the party she tells the story of each character, when that child’s character appears they get to come up and join the story. How different for a face painter to offer?!

Get Your Party Vibe Out There:

Everyone’s party business is different, I know that sounds crazy as you may all feel like you're doing the same thing but it is! I notice it when I design Brands & Websites. 2 Character Companies can have a completly different vibe, I notice it and then reflect it in my work. This targets the customers who are looking for a certain style of character company.

Make Friends in the Biz:

Network and team up with local vendors, event planners, and other cool businesses. It's not just about getting your name out there; it's about creating awesome partnerships that can lead to even bigger and better parties. Working alongside your fellow party entertainers works a lot better than against them. We all experience it, businesses ‘trying’ to push us out or steal our customers. Trust me, it alienates them. Never operate with those negative vibes.

Always Be Improving:

Keep your ear to the ground for new trends and listen to what your customers want. Regular check-ins on your services and welcoming feedback keep your business fresh and loved by your clients.

Train Your Party Crew:

Make sure your team is top-notch and knows how to deliver that amazing service you're known for. Training them not only makes them better but also adds to your rep as a professional and skilled party business.

Show Off Those Happy Reviews:

Encourage your happy party-goers to leave positive reviews online. People trust what others say about you, so those good vibes online can really sway someone to choose your business for their next big bash.
